For her next biographies, Stewart trekked with Sir Edmund Hillary in the Mt. Everest region of Nepal, and journeyed to Burma to interview Nobel laureate Aung San Suu Kyi. She has also published biographies of Chinese leaders Deng Xiaoping and Mao Zedong. Whitney Stewart lives in New Orleans.
